I found this very interesting, tell me if you use!
Step1-Open up your image i used This but you dont have too. I didnt take that, full credit goes to the photographer.
Step2-Go to layer>new adjustment layer>gradient map. The gradient map tool can REALLY manipulate an images lighting and color
Step3-A window should open with a gradient, it should look like this. I have Elements 6.0 so it might look different on other versions, but it will do the same affect. CLICK ON THE GRADIENT
Step4-Change the gradient to look like This.
READ-IT MUST BE BLACK ON THE LEFT SIDE AND WHITE ON THE RIGHT!

Step5-In your layer palette, change the gradient map layer's blending mode to "screen"Example
Step6-Now go to layer>flatten image, save it to your computer, AND YOUR FINISHED!
